This is the morning, after the dispersion, and the work of the morning is methodology: how to use oneself, and on what. That is my profession. I am an archaeologist of morning.

The original in man is that which articulates him from the very outset upon something other than himself.

We make up a different language for poetry
And for the heart - ungrammatical.

Charles Olsen's quote talks of the dispersion. Does he mean sleep?
I am trying to rise early and practice taichi before leaving for dayjob. The mornings are so clear and blueskyed these days. Sleep by 10 pm and up at 5 am - thats the aim for tonight. Nighthawk
He means colonization by the white virus I suspect, though he'd have been well aware of other readings.
One of his shorter poems reads Barbara Ellis / ramp. A student once said to him, "There are 6 different meanings of ramp in the dictionary. Which one did you intend?". Olson answered, "All of them!"
