yes , i have made this mistake many times, thought my "logic" over rid some one else's point of view, but in each case it solved nothing and wound them up even more, because i didnt really listen to how they "felt" about it . when someone took me to one side and pointed out what a jerk i was being, i finally got the point. harsh, but true. jo
