The good student is deeply traumatised. So much so that any healing and rehabilitation is out of the question. Yet it is precisely their heart's ache for healing (wholeness) that draws them to the teaching. Once found, they recognise immediately that this is their one and only chance, and they begin to work as though possessed. A matter of heart, not head.
